A TRIBUTE TO INAY FE:
Some of my customers were asking who is Momma Fe…
Inay Fe was more than my mother. She was the heart and soul of every kitchen, the warmth that filled every home she touched.
She passed away from breast cancer while I was here in New Zealand, and I never had the chance to say goodbye, to hug her, or to tell her “I love you” and “thank you for bringing me into this world.” The smell of her cooking, once a comfort, now haunts me—the sizzle of garlic, the aroma of fresh ingredients, the love in every dish… and then suddenly, it all stopped. She was gone, and with her, a piece of my heart.

Everything at Momma Fe— every bite carries her warmth, and every meal is a tribute to the woman who gave me life, taught me love, and showed me the beauty of sharing it through food.
In my hometown, Dolores Quezon, people didn’t just love her cooking—they loved her. They came to her asking for help without expecting anything in return, because Momma Fe gave selflessly, always. She fed not only their bodies but their hearts. And now, across the ocean in New Zealand, we carry her spirit forward, letting more people taste the love she poured into every meal. With the help of our dedicated staff we build Momma Fe Cantina Cafe. To all our customers, thank you for your support.

Momma Fe may have left this world too soon, but through every dish we serve, her spirit whispers: “I am here. I am love. I am home.”
